Integrated Hatha at The Yoga Ridge: Expand Your Practice Without Leaving Your Foundation

Curious what comes after 26+2? This summer at The Yoga Ridge, we’re introducing Integrated Hatha—a special 90-minute heated class designed to expand your practice while staying grounded in familiar structure. Taught on select Saturdays during Summer 2026 by Cody Geer, Integrated Hatha is an opportunity to explore new movement, challenge your body in different ways, and deepen your understanding of yoga without feeling like you’re starting over. If you love the clarity and consistency of Original Hot Yoga but sometimes wonder what else is possible, this class was built for that. Everybody and every body welcome. Breathe. Sweat. Focus.

What Is Integrated Hatha?

Integrated Hatha is a 90-minute, dialogue-based set series rooted in the Ghosh lineage. It builds directly from the Standard 26+2 sequence, incorporating the foundational postures students already know while introducing additional asana drawn from the traditional 84 postures. You may also notice a subtle Ashtanga influence in sequencing and flow. But this isn’t a free-flow class. And it isn’t leaving 26+2 behind. Integrated Hatha maintains the same intentional structure and operational command that students appreciate in Original Hot Yoga. Think of it as an extension—not a departure. The rhythm remains. The discipline remains. The challenge evolves.

What Makes Integrated Hatha Different?

Familiar Foundations

You’ll still recognize many of the postures and teaching style if you practice 26+2. Instruction is delivered with rhythm, cadence, and clarity so you can stay present instead of worrying about what comes next.

Expanded Possibilities

Integrated Hatha introduces additional movement patterns and opportunities to explore:

  • Arm balances
  • Strength-based postures
  • Deeper hip opening
  • Building core strength
  • Increased mobility challenges
  • Expanded body awareness

Each posture is introduced within a disciplined framework that values precision, repetition, and control over performance. There is no pressure to “achieve” a posture. The goal is exploration.

Why Students Love This Style of Practice

Integrated Hatha offers variety while keeping the predictability many students appreciate. For busy professionals, that means less decision fatigue. For athletes, it means balancing strength and mobility. For parents, it’s dedicated time to reconnect with yourself. For students recovering from old injuries or rebuilding confidence, it offers challenge with structure and modifications. And for long-time 26+2 practitioners? It can feel like rediscovering your practice. More yoga, less stress.
