A studio built on the belief that yoga changes lives.
The Yoga Ridge began with a simple idea: everyone deserves a welcoming place to move, breathe, recover, and feel their best.
We’re Holley and Chris, the owners of The Yoga Ridge, Ridgefield’s first hot yoga studio. We created more than a place to exercise. We wanted to build a community where people of all ages, abilities, body types, and experience levels could discover the lifelong benefits of yoga.
A welcoming place to practice, recover, and belong.
We believe yoga should feel approachable—not intimidating. Whether someone is stepping into a yoga studio for the first time or has been practicing for years, they deserve to feel supported, respected, and welcome.
That belief shapes everything we do, from the way we teach to the way we designed the studio. Our goal is to offer thoughtful instruction, a beautiful space, and a community where everybody and every body can build strength, mobility, confidence, and resilience.
From one first class to a life-changing practice.
Holley stepped into her first Original Hot Yoga class in the fall of 2013, tagging along with friends and expecting little more than an enjoyable workout. She left feeling stronger, calmer, and surprisingly energized.
Discovering the practice
What began as curiosity quickly became an important part of Holley’s life. The consistent Original Hot Yoga sequence gave her a way to improve balance, flexibility, strength, focus, and stress management.
Finding a path through recovery
Two separate ankle fractures later challenged Holley’s ability to stay active. During recovery, yoga became more than exercise. The practice helped her steadily rebuild mobility, balance, strength, and confidence while returning to the activities she loved.
Sharing yoga with others
After more than a decade of practicing, Holley completed teacher training through the Original Hot Yoga Association in 2024. She now enjoys helping students discover the same physical and mental benefits that transformed her own life.
Two different backgrounds. One shared vision.
Chris has practiced Original Hot Yoga for more than a decade. His extensive background in facilities management, combined with Holley’s experience in healthcare as a veterinarian, created a strong partnership for building a yoga studio centered on wellness, quality, safety, and community.
After living in the greater Vancouver area since 2007 and moving to Ridgefield in 2021, we saw an opportunity to create the kind of welcoming, professionally designed studio our growing community deserved.
Together, we transformed that vision into The Yoga Ridge—a boutique yoga studio created with intention from the first architectural plans to the final details students experience each day.
Designed to help you settle in and focus on your practice.
The Yoga Ridge was designed to feel warm, polished, comfortable, and welcoming from the moment you walk through the door. Our infrared hot yoga room provides sun-like radiant warmth, while the studio’s calm, thoughtful design allows students to move and breathe without unnecessary distractions.
A practice that meets you where you are.
Today, The Yoga Ridge offers Original Hot Yoga, Yin Yoga, and specialty classes for students throughout Ridgefield and the greater Vancouver, Washington area.
Original Hot Yoga
A structured and beginner-friendly practice built around 26 postures and two breathing exercises. Our infrared hot yoga classes help students develop strength, balance, mobility, concentration, and resilience through consistent practice.
Yin Yoga & Specialty Classes
Quiet, non-heated Yin Yoga classes provide time to slow down, release tension, improve mobility, and support recovery. Specialty classes offer additional ways to explore movement while remaining grounded in thoughtful, accessible instruction.
Stronger bodies. Calmer minds. Greater resilience.
At The Yoga Ridge, we believe Original Hot Yoga has the power to change lives. Every class is an opportunity to help our students build stronger bodies, calmer minds, and greater resilience—creating the freedom to continue doing the activities they love for years to come.
